MFFUS Distributes Corrugated Tin Sheets and Cash Assistance to Flood-Affected Families and Institutions

As part of post-flood rehabilitation efforts, Madarsha Fotonta Fol Unnayan Songoton took the initiative to distribute corrugated tin sheets and cash assistance among flood-affected families and institutions. The distribution program was held, August 7.

Assistance was provided to 24 flood-affected families and institutions across various areas, including Garangia, Rupkania, Hatiarkul, Eochia, Banshkhali, Sadaha, Bazalia, Rampur, Sonakania, Padua, and Deodighi. Based on necessity, beneficiaries received 1 to 2 bundles of corrugated tin sheets alongside financial aid ranging from BDT 5,000 to 20,000.

The President, General Secretary, active members, and honorable advisory board of Madarsha Fotonta Fol Unnayan Songoton were present during the distribution program.

Post-flood rehabilitation activities remain ongoing. As part of this continuing effort, housing reconstruction support is underway for several more affected families. Once the project is fully finalized, a detailed list of beneficiaries, assistance amounts, and comprehensive progress updates will be officially published.
